You can adjust the time window within which you can dispense your meds. The Hero mobile app offers a “Dispense time window” setting which determines the length of time during which a scheduled dose can be dispensed.

Before scheduled dose time: Check this box to have the Hero dispenser light up 30 minutes before it's time to take your med. Don’t like to be reminded early? Simply uncheck the box.
After scheduled dose time: Use this setting to adjust the length of time a dose is available to be dispensed after its scheduled time. 12 hours in the maximum amount of time allowed and Hero will default to 4 hours, unless you let it know otherwise!
