You have the option to adjust the time window for medication dispensing using the Hero mobile app. This setting, known as "Dispense time window," determines how long before and after the scheduled dose time medications can be dispensed.
Customizable Dispense Time Window Features:
Before Scheduled Dose Time:
Enable this option to have the Hero dispenser light up 30 minutes before the scheduled medication time. To disable early reminders, simply uncheck the box.
After Scheduled Dose Time:
Adjust the duration after the scheduled dose time during which medications can still be dispensed. The default is 4 hours, but you can extend this up to 12 hours if needed.
Allow to Dispense Outside Window:
Optionally allow dispensing of missed doses outside the specified time window. This provides more flexibility, but we recommend consulting with a care provider before taking missed doses.
