If your Hero smart dispenser is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Check Network Frequency
Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz network, as Hero does not support 5GHz.
2. Check Proximity to Router
Place your dispenser within 75 feet of your router and avoid more than two walls between them.
3. Restart Your Hero Smart Dispenser
Unplug the dispenser from the back.
Leave it off for at least two minutes.
Plug it back in and let it restart.
4. Restart Your Router
Turn off your router for 10 seconds.
Turn it back on and wait for it to restart fully.
5. Reset Wi-Fi on the Dispenser
Access the main menu by pressing any button.
Navigate to Device Settings > Wi-Fi Network > Reset Wi-Fi.
6. Alternative Reset Method (if you can’t access the main menu)
Unplug the Hero dispenser.
Press and hold both the Right and Left arrow keys.
Keep holding until you see a blue LED light, then release.
7. Check for Blocked or Paused Devices
Ensure your Wi-Fi network is not blocking or pausing the Hero dispenser.
Check your Wi-Fi management app or router settings for any restrictions.
