To protect against unintended dispenses, you can enable a 4-digit medication dispense passcode (for one or more medications) which the user must enter on the Hero dispenser before dispensing (or refilling) medications.
This setting is available via the app under More > Notifications & Preferences > Dispense Passcode.
Here’s how to enable it:
Select the medications for which you want to require a passcode.
Select Next.
Tap the arrows to create a four-digit code.
Select Save passcode.
To save the setting, select Confirm.
Note: You can also enable and disable passcodes for specific medications by navigating to Meds > Select Medication > Dispense Passcode.
