How can I sign in/log in to the Hero app if I forgot email and password?

Updated this week

If you're unable to log in or sign in to the Hero app—whether you've forgotten your email, password, or something else isn't working—don’t worry! Here’s how you can quickly regain access:

🔐 Use One-Time Code (Fastest & Easiest)

We recommend using the one-time code to sign in. It’s quick, secure, and avoids password hassles.

Steps to Sign In with One-Time Code:

  1. Open the Hero App
    Tap “I'm an existing user.”

  2. Enter Your Email Address
(Need help finding it? See below.)

  3. Tap "One-Time Code"
We'll email you a 6-digit login code (look for a message titled “Login code”).

  4. Enter the Code in the App
The code expires in 90 seconds, so use it right away.

💡 Don’t Know Your Account Email?

No problem. You can find it on your Hero Smart Dispenser:

  • Open the Main Menu

  • Tap Device Settings

  • Tap About

  • Tap Device Info
Your email will be listed there.

🔑 Prefer Using a Password Instead?

If you'd rather log in with a password:

  1. Tap “Forgot Password?” on the login screen.

  2. Enter your email.

  3. Tap “Request password reset link.”

  4. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.

Note: Ensure that your new password is at least 10 characters long. Using shorter passwords will result in an 'Invalid Data' error.

Still Having Trouble?

Make sure your app is updated and that you're using the correct email. The one-time code is the simplest way to get back in quickly. If you continue experiencing issues, reach out to Hero Support at 855-855-9962 for assistance.

  • Verify that you are checking the email inbox for the registered email address connected to your Hero account.

  • Check your spam or junk folders, as automated emails may sometimes be filtered there.

  • Confirm that you’re using the correct and updated email address.

Important: The reset code is only valid for 90 seconds after it is sent. Ensure you retrieve and use the code promptly.
