How do I set up a replacement Hero?

To set up your replacement Hero and transfer your account and medications from the old one, follow these steps:

  1. Unbox and Set Up Your New Hero

    • Unbox your new replacement Hero.

    • Complete the setup tutorial, ensuring you connect it to your local WiFi network.

    • When your new smart dispenser reaches the connection code screen, open your Hero App.

  2. Begin the Transfer Process

    • In the Hero App, navigate to the "More" tab and select "Set up a replacement Hero."

    • Select "Begin Transfer" and enter the setup code displayed on your new Hero.

  3. Transfer Medications

    • Follow the prompts on the screens of both Hero devices to unload your medication from your original Hero and load it into the new one.

  4. Finalize the Setup

    • Once the transfer is complete, insert the travel bar into the back of your original Hero. Ensure it's securely in place, then unplug it.

    • Use the original packaging to return your old Hero. Insert the travel bar to prevent transport damage.

    • If you've lost the original packaging or travel bar, let us know, and we'll send you a replacement (replacement packing may incur a fee).
