The travel bar is used to keep Hero’s inner moveable parts locked and safe from damage while in transport. It is a small, curved, metal accessory that resembles an Allen wrench.
You can find the travel bar at the back of the Hero device. Look for a compartment or small doors at the back of the device. Open these to access the travel bar. In some devices, the compartment might have a cover secured by a sticker indicating where to remove it.
To avoid incurring additional fees when returning Hero, make sure you insert the Travel Bar and properly pack and return your dispenser within 30 days.
When the Hero device is in regular use, ensure the travel bar is removed from the back compartment. Store it in a safe and easily accessible location to avoid misplacement.
To insert the travel bar:
Locate the lock compartment in the back of the dispenser.
Insert the long end of the travel bar into the hole in the lock compartment. Avoid forcing the travel bar into the slot.
If you feel any resistance, rotate the travel bar until it slides in further. Rest assured, if the travel bar is not inserted properly, the dispenser will let you know! Additionally, ensure the hole for the travel bar is located on the left side after the compartment is opened. Confirm the travel bar is securely in place before moving the unit.
