Step-by-step instructions:
Open up the Meds menu in your Hero app.
Select the medication you want to remove from the list.
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select Remove Medication.
Confirm that you want to remove the medication by selecting Remove Medication again. Now it's time to remove the medication from the cartridge.
On your Hero device, select Confirm, and then Okay to confirm that you want to remove the displayed medication.
The cartridge door will open. Remove the cartridge and empty any medication inside. Then, clean the cartridge with a light alcohol swab (please do not put it in the dishwasher) and return the cartridge to the Hero device. Make sure to push the bottom tab all the way in until you hear a click, which ensures that the cartridge is securely and properly placed.
Close the cartridge door, then select Okay on the Hero device and Close on the app to complete the process.
Please note that when removing medication, you should not add new medication to that cartridge or any other cartridge at that time. Instead, follow the instructions on How to add new medication to ensure that you’re using your Hero smart dispenser correctly.
