To set up the replacement Hero, and transfer your account and meds from the old one, follow these steps:
First, unbox your new, replacement Hero and complete the setup tutorial, making sure to connect it to your local WiFi network. When your new smart dispenser reaches the connection code screen, open your Hero App and navigate to the More tab, then select Set up a replacement Hero. The app will walk you through the process from there!
From there, select Begin Transfer and enter the setup code displayed on your new Hero. Follow the prompts on the screens of both Hero devices to unload your medication from your original Hero and load it into the new one when prompted.
Once the transfer process has been completed, you will be prompted to insert the travel bar into the back of your original Hero. Make sure it's securely in place, and then unplug it.
Remember, it's important to use the original packaging when returning your old Hero, and to insert the travel bar to prevent any transport damage. If you've lost the original packaging or travel bar, let us know, and we'll be happy to send you a replacement (replacement packing may incur a fee).
