How can I connect the smart dispenser to my hotspot

Here are instructions on how to connect the smart dispenser to your hotspot:

For iOS (iPhone):

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device. It is represented by a gear icon and is usually found on the home screen.

  2. Scroll down and tap on "Personal Hotspot." If you don't see this option, it might be located under "Cellular" or "Mobile Data" settings.

  3. Toggle the "Personal Hotspot" switch to the right to turn it on. You may be prompted to set up your hotspot by creating a Wi-Fi password and choosing a name for your network.

  4. Once the hotspot is enabled, you can connect Hero to it by going to smart dispenser’s main menu Device Settings > Wi-Fi & Network > Connect to Wi-Fi and selecting your iOS device's hotspot network.

For Android:

Please note that the steps to enable the hotspot feature may vary slightly depending on the Android device and its version of the operating system. The following instructions provide a general guideline:

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device. You can usually find it by tapping the gear icon in the app drawer or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear-shaped icon.

  2. Look for the "Network & internet" or "Connections" option and tap on it.

  3. Locate and tap on "Hotspot & tethering" or a similar option. It may also be listed under "Wireless & networks" or "Mobile network settings."

  4. On the next screen, tap on "Wi-Fi hotspot" or "Portable Wi-Fi hotspot" to access the hotspot settings.

  5. Toggle the "Wi-Fi hotspot" switch to the right to turn it on. You may be prompted to set up your hotspot by creating a Wi-Fi password and choosing a name for your network.

  6. Once the hotspot is enabled, connect Hero to it by going to smart dispenser’s main menu Device Settings > Wi-Fi & Network > Connect to Wi-Fi and selecting your Android device's hotspot network.
