To switch a medication from stored outside to stored inside the Hero dispenser, follow these steps:
Open the Hero app and go to the Meds tab.
Tap on the medication you want to change.
Scroll down and tap “Remove Medication” to delete it.
Re-add the medication as a new entry. If there are available slots, it will automatically be stored inside.
When prompted by the app, add the medication into the smart dispenser. Once the dispenser's door is opened, load the medication:
Pull the cartridge out by pinching the bottom.
Pour in your pills below the MAX line.
Push the cartridge back in until you hear a click, then close the door.
Use the Pill Status menu on the dispenser to input number of pills you are adding, if you want accurate tracking.
Confirm in the app and on your device to finish setup.

To move a medication outside the Hero device:
Remove the Medication Inside the Device:
Open the Hero app, select the medication in the Meds tab, and tap Remove Medication.
Follow the device's prompts to remove the cartridge and insert it back empty.
Re-add the Medication for Outside Tracking:
Tap the + icon in the Meds tab to re-add the medication.
Enter its details and choose Outside the Hero for storage.
Save the settings to start tracking it outside. You will receive reminders based on your set schedule.
