Once you have performed a factory reset (via Menu > Device Settings > About > Reset to Factory), and the smart dispenser confirms the travel bar is securely in place, you can unplug Hero.
Follow the directions below to avoid additional fees due to shipping damage. You should pack the Hero dispenser in the original packaging. Please let us know if you've lost the travel bar or the original packaging, and we'll be happy to send you a replacement! Remember, we are here to help!
Here's how:
- First step, place the power supply, the safety key and the cup in the accessories bag. Then pack the accessories bag inside a triangular cardboard that should fit snugly into the recess where the cup normally sits. If you don't have the cutout, place the power cable, cup, and key in a plastic bag to avoid scratching the dispenser during shipment.
- Then, place the bottom foam, the smart dispenser, and the top foam into the box.
- Finally, place the cardboard on top of the foam, and close and seal the box (we recommend two strips of packaging tape).
And you're all done! You can now print the return label, tape it to the outside of your package, and drop it off at any FedEx dropoff location.
