Hero supports any pill size or shape. That being said, we want to make sure that your medication stays safe and effective at all times. For this reason, we cannot store liquid medications or medications that require refrigeration in the Hero Device, or half or partial pills.

Additionally, we recommend that you store chewable or dissolvable pills, soft gelcaps, and sticky pills outside of the Hero Device. This is because these forms of medication may stick together due to humidity changes or disintegrate under pressure, leading to unsuccessful dispenses.

Remember, if a medication cannot be stored inside Hero, you can still add the medication to your schedule in the Hero app so that you can track adherence and receive reminders when it’s time to take your dose.
