How to connect the Hero smart dispenser with the app (Video Tutorial)

Step-by-Step Guide to Connect Your Hero Smart Dispenser

  1. Download the Hero Health App

    • Download the Hero Health app to your smartphone (iPhone or Android).

  2. Start Creating Your Hero Account

    • Tap "I am new to Hero" to start the process of creating your Hero account.

  3. Confirm Your Hero Has Arrived

    • Once your Hero has arrived and you’ve plugged it in, and you can see a connection code on the screen, please select "Yes" in the app.

  4. Enter the Connection Code

    • Enter the 8-digit pairing code displayed on your smart dispenser screen to connect your app.

  5. Complete the Setup

    • Success! Press the "Success" button to start creating your Hero account.

In case you are setting up a replacement Hero smart dispenser, follow these steps:

  1. Begin the Transfer Process

    • In the Hero App, navigate to the "More" tab and select "Set up another smart dispenser."

    • Select ''For an existing primary user''

    • Select "Begin Transfer" and enter the 8-digit pairing code displayed on your new Hero.

  2. Transfer Medications

    • Follow the prompts on Hero smart dispenser screen to load the medication into the new one.

  3. Finalize the Setup

    • Once the transfer is complete, insert the travel bar into the back of your original Hero. Ensure it's securely in place, then unplug it.

    • Use the original packaging to return your old Hero. Insert the travel bar to prevent transport damage.

    • If you've lost the original packaging or travel bar, let us know, and we'll send you a replacement (replacement packing may incur a fee).
